Argyll and Bute Council has launched a single helpline number for citizens to contact the council and other partnership agencies with needs arising from the current coronavirus situation. The helpline number will be operated during normal business hours and is 01546 605524. Queries that will be addressed include Financial, Business, Health, Education, Registration and Social & Homecare Needs. Individuals can also use the helpline to volunteer.
For more information please see – web page To supplement the phone number there are also webforms allowing individuals to volunteer and to log their Social and Homecare needs 24/7.
I’d be grateful if you would kindly use your wider networks to promote this newly launched number and the webform.

The community council is developing its response to the current situation and has coordinators in different areas. We are looking for volunteers who can deliver shopping, pick up prescriptions, chat over the phone, etc .
We are also trying to identify people who are self isolating and need help. As you will be aware it is difficult to be confident everyone has got the message in an isolated rural area, so we ask that you share this with neighbours, friends, etc. This way we hope to get a message to everyone.
we ask all people who are volunteering to take heed of this information from Argyll and Bute Council
